Taliban Suspected Over Lahore Siege

Fighters loyal to the Pakistani Taliban are suspected of carrying out an attack on a police academy on the outskirts of Lahore, Pakistani official have said. Rehman Malik, the interior ministry chief, said that the attack was planned in South Waziristan, where the Tehrik-i-Taliban Pakistan, led by Baitullah Mehsud, are fighting government forces. "This is an attack on Pakistan. There are two choices: to either let the Taliban take over your country or to fight it out," he said.
