According to the latest data released on Saturday, India's economic growth declined dramatically, by 22.8% in the April-June quarter as compared to the same quarter last year, after eight quarters, i.e. two years. The contraction was 23.9% as compared to the previous January-March quarter. With this decline, the Government of India has also achieved the distinction of being the country with the biggest economic decline among all major economies of the world.
