Their arrests were in connection with speeches made just before the Bhima Koregaon incident on 1st January 2018. These arrests stand in complete contradiction to earlier investigation on Sambhaji Bhide and Milind Ekbote, both prominent Hindutva leaders known to have made inflammatory speeches that instigated violence across Maharashtra.
