Several valley-based newspapers published blank front-pages as a mark of protest against the government’s move
The Kashmir Editors’ Guild (KEG) held a protest on March 10 at the Kashmir press club against the government’s unexplained ban on disbursal of government advertisements in two newspapers, Greater Kashmir and Kashmir Reader. On the same day, several valley-based newspapers also published blank front-pages as a mark of protest against the government’s move which has received severe criticism from the media fraternity.
