Caster Semenya Continues Fight Against Gender Humiliation; Platini Detained in Corruption Probe
South African Olympic and world champion runner Caster Semenya has slammed the international athletics body for “using her as a human guinea pig”. The International Association of Athletics Federations (IAAF) attempted to force her to be declared as a "biological male" in recent court hearings. Semenya is appealing against the ruling in the Swiss Federal Tribunal. Meanwhile, in France, Michel Platini was detained for questioning pertaining to an ongoing investigation into corruption in the awarding of the 2022 FIFA World Cup to Qatar.
