Kamala Nehru Hospital, Bhopal: What Happened on Night of the Incident?

Since Monday, at least 12 children have died after a massive fire broke out at Kamala Nehru Hospital in Bhopal's Government Hamidia Hospital complex. However, Dr Jyotsna Srivastava of the Paediatrics Department of the hospital said that eight of these deaths were not caused by fire. But the families of the children disagree with this. It is being reported that the hospital, which started in 2002, did not have a 'NO Objection Certificate' from the state government's fire department. Taking action in this matter, the government removed the Dean of GMC, Superintendent of Hamidia Hospital, Director of Kamala Nehru Hospital from their posts. Along with this, Awadhesh Bhadauria, Deputy Engineer of CPA Electricity Wing, has also been suspended.
